Furrow ("we", "us") is an agricultural compliance platform for Irish farms. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. The legal operating entity for Furrow is currently being finalised and this policy will be updated with its details; in the meantime, all privacy queries can be directed to hello@furrow.ie.
Our servers are located in the European Union (Germany). We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties except service providers needed to run Furrow (for example our hosting provider), or where the law requires it.
When the Furrow WhatsApp assistant launches, messages you send to Furrow on WhatsApp will be processed to provide the service. WhatsApp itself is operated by Meta and subject to its own terms and privacy policy. We will update this policy with full details before the assistant goes live.
If you link an advisor to your farm within Furrow, that sharing is consent-based: your advisor sees your farm's compliance information only after you (or they, with your acceptance) create the link, and you can end it at any time.
Enquiry and pilot-list data is kept while relevant and deleted on request. Pilot participants' farm data is retained for the duration of participation and deleted or anonymised afterwards unless you continue as a customer.
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing; and request portability. Email hello@furrow.ie and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts and the CDNFonts service, which may log your IP address when your browser requests the font files.
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
